This one-of-a-kind gold pendant was created as a contemporary interpretation of an unconventional medallion. Set with garnet, blue sapphire and white topaz, the piece draws inspiration from the ornamental language of the Art Deco period.

This pendant was created as a contemporary interpretation of an unconventional medallion.
Its form draws inspiration from the ornamental language of the Art Deco period, where architectural lines, symmetry and contrasts of colour created the distinctive elegance of the early twentieth century.
At the center of the composition sits garnet - stone of deep red colour that has long been valued for its symbolism of vitality and inner strength.
 
Above the garnet is a blue sapphire, introducing a cooler contrast to the composition. For centuries, sapphire has been regarded as a symbol of wisdom and clarity, traditionally associated with dignity and noble circles.
 
The lower part of the pendant is completed by an arc of white topaz, bringing light and balance while emphasizing the architectural structure of the entire composition.
 
Between the stones, small details appear that create a subtle ornamentation. Some were carefully planned as part of the composition, while others emerged spontaneously during the making process — moments of inspiration that arose naturally in the studio.
The combination of red and blue creates a vivid contrast, brought together by 12-karat yellow gold.
 
Each element was shaped by hand using files, saws and the gradual forming of the metal during the making process in the VAN-LUI studio, where designer Tjaša Petrič Cvet develops each piece directly through working with the material.
 
The pendant is a one-of-a-kind piece.
 
The garnet also carries a few small surface marks that do not affect the overall appearance of the medallion. This particularity has been taken into account when determining the final price of the pendant.

Ta obesek je nastal kot sodobna interpretacija netipičnega medaljona.
 
Njegova oblika črpa navdih iz ornamentalnega jezika obdobja Art Deco, kjer so arhitekturne linije, simetrija in kontrast barv ustvarjali prepoznavno eleganco zgodnjega 20. stoletja.
 
V središču kompozicije je postavljen granat, kamen globoke rdeče barve, ki je bil skozi zgodovino cenjen zaradi svoje simbolike vitalnosti in notranje moči.
 
Nad granatom je umeščen modri safir, ki v kompozicijo vnese hladnejši kontrast. Safir je že stoletja simbol modrosti in jasnosti ter je bil tradicionalno povezan z dostojanstvom in plemiškimi krogi.
Spodnji del obeska dopolnjuje lok belih topazov, ki prinašajo svetlobo in ravnotežje ter poudarijo arhitekturno strukturo celotne kompozicije.
 
Med kamni se pojavijo tudi drobni detajli, ki ustvarjajo subtilno ornamentiko. Nekateri so bili načrtovani kot del kompozicije, drugi pa so nastali spontano med samim procesom oblikovanja — kot trenutni navdih v studiu.
 
Kombinacija rdeče, modre in zlate ustvarja živ kontrast, ki ga povezuje 12-karatno rumeno zlato. Vsak element je bil oblikovan ročno, s pilami, žagami in postopnim oblikovanjem kovine, med procesom ustvarjanja v studiu VAN-LUI, kjer oblikovalka Tjaša Petrič Cvet razvija vsak kos neposredno skozi delo z materialom.
 
Obesek je unikaten kos.
 
Granat nosi tudi nekaj drobnih površinskih sledov, ki ne vplivajo na celoten videz medaljona. Ta posebnost je bila upoštevana pri določanju končne cene obeska.
