Soon, that “bling” began to capture the attention of others as well.

Hello! I’m Tjaša Petrič Cvet — the designer and jeweller who started Bling of Bloom, which later evolved into VAN–LUI, name that represents my sons.
VAN–LUI is a jewelry brand devoted to craftsmanship, creativity, and timeless beauty — creating gold and silver pieces adorned with colorful stones.
How did it all begin?
It all started back in 2018, when — out of pure curiosity — I began exploring how jewelry is made from precious metals.
I searched for information online, watched countless YouTube videos, and read every book I could find.
The theory completely fascinated me, and after almost a year of soaking up knowledge, I finally felt ready.
And as fate would have it, my (then) future mother-in-law happened to know a goldsmith who had given up his craft years ago — from whom I bought my very first tools.

First steps:
It all began with a ring — a birthday gift for my mom, who at the time had no idea what I had started doing.
Her genuine excitement over my work gave me incredible motivation.
Even though today I see that ring as quite imperfect, it became a symbol of my beginning.
From hobby to passion:
For eight years, I worked as a journalist for the TV show Svet on Kanal A.
It was an exciting but demanding job, with long hours — probably the reason I was looking for a hobby that would help me unwind.
Jewelry making turned out to be the perfect answer.
I spent countless hours in my small workshop, creating and learning new techniques.
First success:
The turning point came when I introduced my work on social media and soon received my very first order.
My partner Žan said at the time, “Maybe there’s something in this after all.”
And he was right.

Osredotočite se na oblikovanje
Leta 2022 sem postala mama, pustila novinarstvo za seboj in se odločila, da se bom popolnoma posvetila oblikovanju nakita.
Leta 2023 sem svojo obrt začela izpopolnjevati pri zlatarskem mojstru Davidu Kramariču v Zlatarskem Ateljeju Mengeš.
Spomladi 2024 sem svoj umetniški nakit predstavila na Slovenskem tednu nakita, jeseni pa tudi na Romunskem tednu nakita.
Kaj sledi?
Naša družinska zgodba se je leta 2025 razširila z novim malim "Bloomiejem".
Med mojim porodniškim dopustom bo prodaja začasno ustavljena, zgodba Bling of Bloom med tem ni počivala. Z razvijanjem znanja, izkušenj, nenazadnje - stila in z osredotočanjem na še žlahtnejše - zlato, se je Bling of Bloom razcvetel v VAN-LUI.
Prepričana sem, da te bom, ko se vrnem, še bolj navdihnil.
